Who Elects the Speaker of the House of Representatives

The Leadership of the Business firm constitutes one collective unit of leaders, consisting of one speaker and 4 (4) Vice Speakers who are to be elected by and from amidst the Members at a Plenary Coming together.

In so far as the Leadership of the House has not been elected, the House will exist temporarily led by Acting Leadership of the House, consisting of ane Speaker and one Vice Speaker originating from the eldest and the youngest member of parliament.

The tasks of the Leadership of the Firm include among other things: to preside over meetings and make conclusions on the results for determination; to fix piece of work plans and divide tasks between the Speaker and the Vice Speakers; to serve as spokesperson of the House; to implement and disseminate Business firm decisions; to represent the Business firm and/or its complementary organs in courts; to carry consultations with the President and the leadership of other state institutions in accordance with the decision adopted past the House; to implement a Business firm decision apropos sanctions on or restoration of a Member in accord with prevailing laws and regulations; to decide the goals, general policy and strategy involving the management of DPR budgets; and to exist accountable for the performance of its tasks at a Plenary Meeting.
